Iris Apfel is getting her very own Barbie Doll
Iris's large style is going mini for this collaboration.
In celebration of the 96 years interior designer, and fashion connoisseur Iris Apfel will be getting her own Barbie Doll made.
Mattel told the Huffington Post that this was the companies was of celebrating Iris's new book 'Iris Apfel: Accidental Icon.' The doll will include Iris Apfel's signature coke bottle glasses, and bold red lips.
Appel told ELLE Magazine in a 2013 interview, "Fashion you can buy, but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are which takes year. There's no how-to road map to style. It's all about self-expression, and above all, attitude."
However the doll won't be sold in stores. A Mattel spokeswoman told The Huffington Post that they will be coming out with a line of dolls that have been inspired by Apfel's style.
