Moschino Fall 2018 Ready-to-Wear Collection
Just another conspiracy theory this season
Jeremy Scott according to Vogue Magazine was a conspiracy theorist during this season. Wondering why some of the models were painted blue, yellow, and orange, well Scott found his inspiration within the John F. Kennedy conspiracy theory.
Scott was inspired by the theory, of President Kennedy telling Marilyn Monroe aliens were real, and that later on she was going to go to the press with the story. According to Vogue Magazine, "a tales delightful ridiculousness (a Scott specialty)." Scott was so inspired he conjured up his own theory, one where Jackie Kennedy was an alien and responsible for both of their deaths. Some of the models were painted in this extraterrestrial color to allude back to his theory.
While the entire Moschino collection does seem outside the box, it was however very conservative with the usage of hued skirt suits, and pillbox hats.
The designer of the collection Jeremy Scott is a very prominent, and outspoken figure in politics. More specifically one who is strongly against Donald Trumps stance on illegal immigration.
