This enlightening documentary will air in the UK on June 8, and in the US on July 13

The documentary on Alexander McQueen will take patrons through an authentic portrait of this icons legacy. Directed by Ian Bonhote and written by Peter Ettedgui the movie will air in the Picturehouse Central in London starting on June 8, and will air in the United States July 13.

"No one discovered Alexander McQueen, McQueen discovered himself," said a voice over in the trailer.

The movie interviews McQueen's closest friends, family, and collaborators. The documentary will break down the inner workings through the usage of footage during the most barrier-breaking fashion shows, along with other arresting visuals, and archive audio.

Starting at McQueen's time attending Central St.Martins in 1992, the film will guide you through each stage in his life. The film will also go up to 2010 and show McQueen's final years before his suicide.
