The iconic accessories designer Kate Spade dies at age 55
Kate Spade truly left a trail of sparkle every where she went.
For the past 25 years Kate Spade created a new era in fashion accessories through a brand built on, "inspiring women to live colorfully." However this era came to a sudden halt.
Tragically Ms. Spade was found dead in her New York apartment on Tuesday. Police categorized the death as a suicide by hanging.
Ms. Spade's legacy will remain on, as one of the first designers of our generation to have emerged a new type of "female lifestyle." Ms. Spade created a one-of-a-kind aesthetic with the bright, colorful, and fun accessories.
Ms. Spade created a brand that promoted both individuality, and creativity. The brand Kate Spade will continue, and carry on her legacy. "She knew what the fashion world needed before we did," said Mr. Joe Zee a celebrity stylist and close friend of Kate Spade in an interview with the New York Times, "Kate just did what she felt was right, regardless of what the industry would think."
